The Cloud Museum, Bard CA

This is an outdoor museum, with a seriously diverse collection of, vehicles, old general store equipment, and farm equipment. So many vehicles, including one of the first Recreational Vehicles made, this one out of wood! For the car or old stuff enthusiast, this is very much, worth the stop!

The Cloud Museum
1398 York Rd (also listed as Winterhaven CA)
Bard CA 92283
Admission $10.00 for adults, as of this post.

There are several hundred cars in this museum!

Barns full! And the incredible thing about that is the owner, drove each car to the museum. The day we toured, the owner was there and he walked around with us for a bit. It is however, mostly a self guided tour. In speaking with my husband, he remarked that he had driven each car to the museum...

Take a bottle of water with you and correct change for entry.

Bard CA is in the desert, and quite hot most of the time. When we visited, there were not any drink machines, that I recall. Since the admission is often an honor system if the owner is busy taking care of other areas of the museum. You will want exact change to make it quick and easy. This is only a handful of photos to illustrate the vast collection that awaits you, when you visit.

As NPS volunteers, this old RV really caught our eye!

There are several barns of vehicles just like these! They have all been restored and are beautiful.

The Doctor's clinic.

An old police car.

The Banker's Office.

Old school bus.

The old post office.

There was also a General store to explore as well as a hardware store. And several large rooms of miscellaneous equipment to explore.

This is a big museum, you will want to allow 2 to 3 hours to walk around and explore.
